### Staking introduction

Blast Miners offering the most unique staking mechanism for its community and hodlers to earn rewards frequently. Blast Miners is presenting an exceptional chance for its community members and token holders to receive rewards via staking. This manual delivers crucial details regarding the process of staking, the benefits that come with committing for an extended period and strategies to increase your portion of the Blast developer airdrop.

### Staking process

With every Blast Miner you stake, you accumulate points. These points reflect your engagement and involvement with both the Blast Miner and the larger Blast community. The more Blast Miner you stake and the longer you stake them, the greater the number of points you gather. 

Furthermore, there is a bonus mechanism that rewards you for the total duration of time your Miner are staked.

### Boost categories

The staking process concideres three booster mechanisms. Each one is pushing the multiplier to generate more points over time. 

* NFT Rarity
* Time
* Boosterpack

### NFT rarity

After the completion of the minting process and the minting of the final NFT, a timestamp will be established. This action uncovers an On-Chain Rarity for each NFT. The foundational points for a Miner are set at **100 points per 5 minutes**, which are then adjusted based on the rarity.

The rarity is divided into six categories:

### **Time Boost**

Each week your miner remains staked, it accrues a 2% increase in boost. The highest possible boost attainable is 20%. Should you choose to unstake your miner, you will forfeit your accumulated boost. Upon restaking, the boost count resets to 1.

### Boosterpack

The booster pack offers a paid enhancement for each staked Miner. Each boost costs 0.001 ETH, with a limit of 5 boosts per NFT. Therefore, a maximum additional boost of 25% can be achieved.

### Unstaking

As soon as a miner is unstaked, a 20% point reduction is applied to the current staking phase on the selected Miner. The time booster will also reset. 

The rarity boost and the boosterpack are unefected from the unstaking process.
